Project includes Modifications to IR9 Pump Station Building serving the southern IR9 area of the Westbank First Nation, this pump station upgrade includes:

  • A new VFD and Pump #5. The existing four pumps have a combined capacity of 220 liters/second, while Pump #5—a 3-phase, 600V, 350HP unit—delivers 185 liters/second, nearly doubling the IR9 system’s water capacity,

  • A new I/O control panel and an upgraded 120/240V electrical panel for future expansion 

  • Two new 600V, 500KW generators in parallel providing a combined 1MW of power to the facility ensuring the facility will remain fully operation under power outages.

    This project resides on the ancestral lands of the Syilx Indigenous Nation, and we are honored to contribute to and serve their community.
