Four Point Electric Inc. provided the electrical scope for the Marshall Creek Lift Station in Haines Junction, Yukon, supporting the expansion of critical municipal wastewater infrastructure serving the Marshall Creek subdivision.
Our work included the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems required for the operation of the wastewater lift station, including power distribution, motor controls, instrumentation interfaces, grounding, and integration with the facility's mechanical pumping equipment. The project was delivered in accordance with Yukon electrical regulations and industry best practices to ensure reliable, safe, and maintainable operation.
This infrastructure project contributes to the long-term growth of the community by expanding wastewater servicing capacity while enhancing the reliability and resilience of essential public utilities. The Marshall Creek Lift Station forms part of a broader infrastructure investment supporting future residential development and environmental protection in the Haines Junction region.
Fun Fact:
Due to the owners request the wet well did not have traditional continuous positive ventilation to save operating costs creating a Zone 1 hazardous location. FPEI identified, designed, and installed a remote seal vault (zone break) within 900mm of the wet well to achieve code compliance with CSA C22.1:24 CEC Section 22-704 2)
